SO I cut my calories back a month ago... and seem to have stalled. Do you think its related, plateau or just a fluke?

Diet Calendar Entries for 02 September 2011:

I wouldn't call "plateau" just yet if I were you. Sometimes things just tend to stall for no apparent reason. However, as you know, I am having massive success "spiking" to get out of my plateau. I can warmly recommend it. :)

I agree, it's not a plateau yet. You're diet is good, can you try a different exercise regime? Step up intensity or start weight training? When I had a three week plateau, I continued with the same diet but changed my exercise. Also things like driving, desk work etc are overestimated on FS, not worth logging. Don't worry, it will pass! You are doing well! :)

i recently changed my work out regime...like 2 weeks ago. Spoke with my trainer tonight and he told me to just relax- it happens and to add in the abs stuff i do at the gym at home- tried that today, AHAHA not easy with 3 kids running around jumping on me wanting to play with the ball...lol o well, keep on keeping on!

You'll make it though. You've show good progress for a long time. If you DO hit the plateau, there are several ways to kick back in gear. :)

LaraStar- I log everything because if I am low on my cal burn for the day, i go home and do something to change it! And YES i do weight training, I started couch to 5 k today for my cardio - hope this helps kick it up a knotch... my gym is under renovations so my routeen is off as well, not all my regular machines are availible til after the 15th of this month so I did some hard core ab stuff with the ball, the medicine ball, leg lifts, 75 crunches... felt awesome!
