going to start a low carb diet. start off with around 20 net carbs a day. eat meat, veggies, salad, caesar, cheese

YAY for low carb! it really is the best! i am so passionate about this lifestyle that i always want to share what i know to everyone i can! ~I am a FIRM believer that our society has been fed a bunch of bologna about what is healthy and not. I am on the new journey of researching low carb/sugar & high fats/proteins. I am constantly reading articals and blogs and such to gain more information and GOOD science to back up my findings. I urge you to watch the documentary "Fat Head" by Tom Naughton. Just go to hulu.com and you can watch it for free. This seriously changed my life and i have watched it like a dozen times now. I also read his blogs: tomnaughton.com, there is a link there to his other fat head blog, and i read marks daily apple. The weight loss is effortless when i reduce my carbs and sugar and increase my protein and fats. Watch it and see for yourself what you believe! Im so happy to have made such a discovery and the way he explains it, makes such perfect sense!~ Good luck on your journey. ...and remember, in order for low carb to work you HAVE to throw all what you've been told out of the window. You NEED fat, good wholesome saturated animal fat. When something is "fat free", "low fat", or "whole grain" RUN!!! Run away as fast as you can, because all that equates to is SUGAR.. and sugar=body fat.
