A brief summary of where I am at on this journey
Feeling good about my progress on getting myself to a healthier weight. Trying hard to not let my head get wrapped around the scale number and more into eating "clean".
I don't remember a time when I didn't gain some weight over the holidays. Feeling really good that I stayed with my resolve and to remember that it is not the food frenzie that make it merry, but family and friends I choose to be merry with.
I am treating myself to a membership at the Y this year. Now that I feel I have eating somewhat in control, I want to add some exercise for me. I am going to start with water exercise and then if my joints feel OK with that maybe the treadmill. I am also going to look into some kind of resistance classes there for people my age. (something I can learn to do at home)
