Monday arrived much too quickly ... as usual!!!
I worked more than 8 hours yesterday on my new business. Was able to get a few things done which was wonderful ... still so much to do!!
Scale was up to 207 this morning. No particular reason. I remained on track all weekend and exercised. Go figure.
Today feels like a rush ... I want to know how to fit more hours into the day where I can do what I want/need to do!!
So quickly ... grateful ... because I must dash off to Priest River to see a family this morning.
1. I am grateful for getting so much done yesterday ... even though it feels like I still have so much to do I know I am making progress.
2. I am grateful that I could listen and support my best friend this weekend as she negotiates her way through some difficult cirucumstances.
3. I am VERY grateful my DH seems to be pulling himself out of his slump, felt "decent" this weekend, and we are working side-by-side on shifting somethings in our life together.
4. I am grateful that so far ... most of the folks I know who were in the path of Irene appear to have not had too much damage or danger.
5. I am grateful that I KNOW I am MORE than the number on the scale and that I am refusing to let the 207 that showed up this morning deter me from my determination to stay positive about ME!!
So ... off I go ... into the wild cloudy yonder this morning. Still quite warm but overcast today. I will continue to practice kindness towards myself and I am working diligently on shifting my internal diaglouge. My goodness ... I am a full time job!!!

Babs ... a consultation business focused on Infant Mental Health services ... reflective supervision, training, that sort of thing ... for the professionals who work with children birth to age 3. @ Anne ... okay I'll ignore it ... too busy to do otherwise anyway and tomorrow is always another day!!
