RubyRedSox's Journal, 27 August 2011

My daughter is in the hospital so if I suddenly disappear for a week or two it would be because I'm not home.

My daughter went in for her exam Friday the 25th and they found her amniotic fluid to be dangerously low. She was then admitted into the hospital. She has I.V.s and the word is if her amniotic fluid doesn't increase they will induce labor Sunday (tomorrow). Thankfully, baby Lilly turned last week so is head down once again and my daughter is in her 36th week.

I'm trying to get a hold of my son because he's the only one who can come get me.

Right now I'm on pins and needles just waiting.

Happy Weekend!
♥Ruby

Thank you, movingdown. At any rate, they'll be keeping her until at least Monday to ensure her vitals are stable. She has lupus, fibromyalgia among a very long list of other dxs which predisposed her to having a high risk pregnancy in the 1st place. Right now they're trying to get her pain down as it's keeping her blood pressure elevated.

Ruby, I sympathize with you, dear. I know your daughter has had a high risk pregnancy from the start, and you've been so worried about her. At 36 weeks, Lilly should be fine. I am praying for your daughter, her baby and you. The waiting is the hardest part for you right now. Stay strong, my friend! I hope you can reach your son very soon! Sending you love, hugs, and prayers!
