It's really hard to get high protein with less fat...or so it seems to me. My fat consumption is way up, so is my protein and fiber. What do I do? Maybe tomorrow will be better. I picked up 2 boxes of Kashi GOLean High Fiber High Protein Low Fat Cereal. Please let this help!

Look for low fat versions of the things you like best, such as the ceasar dressing. You can save lots of fat grams by switching. Also, incorporate lean protein such as chicken breast, turkey sausage and boneless center cut pork chops. You'll be able to have 4 to 8 ounces of lean protein and still keep your fat intake to around 25%. In fact tonight I had a huge romaine/veggie salad with Fit & Active Light Italian salad dressing for fewer than 3 grams of fat. I didn't like the dressing at first but now I crave it! Hang in there...you seem to have a great start! Deb
