Wanted to share this with folks, please comment, I'd love to hear other experiences!! I have some very dear friends who went out of their way to cook me a low carb meal. Steak and prosciutto-wrapped asparagus with cream cheese, it was AWESOME. Then, they surprised me with dessert: a sugar-free root beer Rita's water ice. I devoured it, then looked it up online when I got home--it says the regular size has 45-60 carbs!! They are sugar alcohol, supposedly, but it is a bit unclear on their web site. Obviously this isn't something I should do again anytime soon, but what are your thoughts on it? Can I have a kid's size on special occasions without it blowing me out of the fat-burning zone??
