Darkazana's Journal, 18 November 2015

Back home after a great weekend away. Wedding was beautiful, a lovely relaxed day, and cake was a success. Two extra days in hotel for us as a break, with lots of Christmas shopping done in Burford and Lechlade. Was pleased to see weight hasn't changed whilst being away despite having a cooked breakfast everyday, and several naughty slices of cake, though I managed to make my target of 6000 steps apart from Friday, which was mainly spent travelling in the car on a journey from hell. A shame I didn't get to complete final days of challenge, just the time ran away from me for reporting and recording.

Well back to normal now and watching the carbs and fats and just keeping on an even keel is all I need. Lots of decorating to do now. Started on the lounge yesterday, day out with DD as it's her 30th birthday today and then cracking on with more decorating....which should help with the exercise.

Onwards and upwards. Looking forward to the next challenge....bring it on Sassies!

Glad to hear you had a good time, and all went well 😀 And it's a bonus that the extra eating didn't do any damage. I guess you're always mindful of what you're eating anyway, so that must help. And Christmas shopping could be good exercise? Decorating will definitely help!

I'm happy you survived being mother of the bride! I'm hoping my other daughter elopes after the stress of the youngest ones wedding. The bride and groom were not the problem...it was just everyone else with their opinions! Knew you wouldn't gain a bunch, you are to determined to keep the weight off! :D
