well the beef stroganoff was delicious, I have put down how I made it on a reply to a few of you out there. Another 4 miles in 32 minutes, there is still a bit left in me I think I know what I am doing wrong. because I do 4 miles regularly my body knows when its due to get tired (muscle memory) so I will have to change something, now my idea is that if I take it to 4.5 a couple of times (which is within my reach) I will move the bench mark and then you confidence builds for the 4 miles and it will act as a shock to the muscle. We should always shock the system every now and then to stop the muscles from becoming lazy. So we shall see, watch this space.

I am trying something different too. Instead of doing my 3.1 miles as fast as possible I will wear a heart rate monitor, keeping my heartrate between 75%-85% of my MHR and see how long it will take me that way :)

so we are working more for cadio than for fat burn? We are not having a race are we? You can get a cheap heartrate wqtch from sports direct £59 but it doesn't give any alarms if you are going over you target heart rate. I normally work at an 85 to 90% of MHR but there again I do interval training as opposed to a solid run.

Most fat burn happens if you work at 65% to 75% of MHR. We can race if you like but I am sure you will win anyway ;). No this is a bit different. I am going for endurance. I still have this dream of running a half marathon again and maybe even a full one. Got all the equipment. Had it for years just needed to change the batteries :)
