New year, going to go back to really watching what I'm eating. That protein and cutting back to my normal weight range will be great. Some of my race goals this year are an Olympic triathlon and an IronMan 70.3 (half, not full). No big time goals yet for them, still working that out. I have a 5K on MLK Day and my half in Feb. hoping for a new PR on both. 😁
I planned on measuring today but that hasn't happened so sometime this week.
Happy New Year!

I cannot wait to see how you do on the Ironman. I would love to try something like that but my surgeon has warned me repetitively about the danger if i start running again to my hip. Think the pounding pavement. He said if it starts to hurt he wont be able to fix the pain so i heed the advice and limit to walking. Super annoying. Tho i run after my little pomsky upstairs back and forth just for a few minutes because it makes me laugh (my puppy) and its carpeted.

I need to see if I can manage the running volume this year without the pain and then I could absolutely see this as a goal for 2025 if it's feasible without the knee issues. I'll meet you half way and you can drag me behind you !
