So in about two hours I'll be making my first product presentation four my companies major sales meeting today. Worst part is I was thrown into this program when it was in the middle of being finished. So I am not an expert on all the product. I hate public speaking. And I wouldn't say I am a big people person either. But whatever It is my impending doom and I have to suck it up and deal with it.

As for food and such this past weekend was my brothers birthday. He whole weekend turned into a cheat weekend however o dos not cheat at ever meal. For instance here was my weekend.

Friday: fasted till 1 pm. Had a healthy chicken and mixed green salad for lunch
Snack- fruit
Snack 2 handful of Cheerios. I know this was bad
Dinner- cheat meal burger and fries
Workout: stayed at work late that I chose to get extra sleep. Rest day

Saturday: fasted until 1 pm
Snack- coconut milk latte
Lunch- small chicken soup at planets bread with a chicken salad
Dinner- went to this Brazilian grill. I had salad cheese and a ton of grilled meats. Pretty healthy from a pale stand point
Desert- shared a flan cake with my family members
Coffee- another small coconut latte
Desert 2- a slice of birthday cake with cheesecake center
Workout: woke up early and rushed to the city to get to class. Walked in my feel all day until 11:30pm with family around NYC
Probably logged about 25k steps

Sunday- fasted until 12:30pm
Lunch- coffee with cream. Two eggs scrambled side of bacon and home fries
Dinner-again a burger and fries and baked clams
Desert- shares a slice of leftover birthday cake and two pastries with the boyfriend
Workout: 40 min cardio session stair master and elliptical

Monday-today- fasted until 8:30 am.
Breakfast- medium iced coffee with cream and one splendid
Scrambled eggs, bacon, small blueberry muffin, fruit bowl and some home fries
Workout: plan to walk the dogs or do a 30 min jump rope session

So this had been my meals. If anyone can give any input if it looks like completely killed my diet. I figured if I cheated this much on the weekend I feel the fasting and working out would help. I am slowly seeing my abs. But my trip is the second to last week of December. I really want to get to a lower body fast quicker. I am guessing for now on I need to be really strict on weekends as well?

don't know what program you are on, but I'm glad to see you stopped the extended fasting in the morning. We All fast all night, and IMO extending that fast all morning is setting us up for a binge later in the day. It is easy to fast in the morning, but it's the worst thing to do. We need FUEL during the day, not while we are sleeping that night. where our bodies store it away as fat for the famine we are in. (LONG fasting periods every day, due to no or little break-fast convinces our body to slow down the metabolism and store away calories). If I skip or scrimp on breakfast, it's almost impossible NOT to crave sweets, and overeat in the evening.

Hmm good point. I don't find I'm hungry until lunch now. It's like my body is used to it. I don't like eating when I first wake up. But I extended the fasts because of the heavy dinners I had this weekend. My fear is my chest meals are bleeding over into the rest of the weekend. It's hard to have one cheat meal

With our busy lifestyles today, MOST of us are used to not eating a good breakfast. and we pay for it with extra weight. We CAN adjust our time to GIVE ourselves time for a much needed refueling in the morning after fasting all night. It's very easy to reverse the pattern, back to what it needs to be. Just takes a few days. I'm rarely hungry after 3pm. if so just a snack. BTW when I was 24 years old, hardly anyone was overweight. and when I was in grade school, only ONE kid was fat. Things have changed a lot since then. SUPERmarkets now instead of grocery stores that had mainly everything to MAKE meals. NOW the SUPERmarkets are gorged with prepared foods that are NOT good to eat. but are easy and fast to heat up.

I very rarely want or am tempted to eat a cheat meal. Because I eat a large breakfast. :)

Public speaking gets easier when you are able to talk to them instead of worry about you( how you look, how you sound...). Sounds trite but I found it very true. Picking out one or two people in your audience(maybe someone you know) and talking to them helps too. Good luck! I am sure you will rock it.

Just think that everyone in the audience is naked and at least you will be smiling !!

Haha thanks everyone for the encouragement. Everything went well. The sales reps said I did fine and didn't even come off nervous! I always make things seem so much worse than what they are As for the cheat meals it is rare but because of this two day conference there is all these treats and pasta and food. It's my only options for food for yesterday and today. I'm going to get through it and my plan is to avoid cheat meals all together. Instead of designating a cheat day I will just eat a burger if I want a burger and hold he fries. My vacation is coming up and I am getting super desparate. I don't want to end up disappointed in myself for not losing any weight

You got this, public speaking isn't that bad, focus on a few and make it seem as if you are looking at them and just look through them, give a nod or two to the audience and just go with it.

Thanks Rockies :) I ended up doing exactly what you suggested and it worked pretty well. I think I could do it again someday
