One of the youth we used to be leaders for decided this past summer that she would run 1 mile each day and drink water. She looks amazing now. Still doing it as far as I know. Should I take up running 1 mile every day?
Of course, she is counting calories too like a champ.

I think incorporating mileage is a great idea. maybe start by walking, then run 1 minute, walk 2 and repeat. As you get in better shape, increase run intervals. Good luck!
