Just got back from kayaking and fishing. Not ONE single bite today! My friend let me borrow his Hobie today. I let hubby use it while Jerry (the friend I borrowed it from) and I fished. Disappointing day for fish but I might get my Hobie now. I figure within 3 months. Hubby REALLY liked it. I still have to wait and find a really good deal but now he won't complain about it. Plus he and I will both scrimp for this one. He also agreed even though he doesn't fish that I do and we should get the angler version! Sweet!!! I love getting out on the water. Great exercise and a chance to get food at the same time.

Beautiful pics of the water!!!!! I know you had a great time. I am not sure what a Hobie is but I know my daughter named one of her dogs Hobiecat as she used to sail a lot on the ocean. Is it a sail boat?

A Hobie cat is small sailing catamaran. Hobie makes wonderful expensive kayaks with fins you can peddle with. With a paddle and fins you can just about fly across the water.

Nope HCB beautiful east coast...actually I think she was in Tampa Bay so technically neither coast! Wish I was back home Rose!! Hope I can find a husband as considerate as yours. :-D

I take it out into the bay. The ocean is a little too far to take it to. Mine would be okay but hubby's is not ocean rated. The tandem is but I wouldn't trust it. Hub's probably shouldn't be taking it into the bay but we don't go together when the weather is rough. If it starts raining he wants off.
It only took 19 years to break in the hubby. :)
