What the heck? I went to sonic last night for dinner I wasn't really that hungry but was feeling weak and lethargic plus I haven't had a burger in forever. I ate a bacon cheese burger, most of a waffle cone, a few onion rings. At the end of the day I figured my calories and carbs would be insane, but they were 1502 and my carbs under 100? My daily average is 984 cals. and 69 carbs. I wasn't going to put it all in my diet records because I was scared to see how much it was, but did anyway today. I don't feel near as guilty. I know the sugar wasn't so great but I am still losing weight apparently I was at 83% of my RDI (but I have a low metabolize and know my RDI is BS if I ate the amount of calories the RDI tells me to in order to lose 1 lbs a week I would be lucky if I could maintain)It never deny myself a day like this when I am feeling weak and lethargic even if I have 2 in one week sometimes. It is nice to actually get to eat what my family was eating, and not have to cook 2 different meals. I just really felt guilty today thinking I ate may have ate 4000 calories or something so I was shocked to see how much it actually was.

I am concerned about you. you said that you felt lethargic and weak last night, you talked about your food choice. Please talk to your doctor, tell him about your food choices and symptom. Who I am sure will also recommend, that you talk to a dietician. Good luck

It is not just about quantity of calories - it is about the quality of what you choose to fuel yourself. If you eat crap, you will feel like crap. Even if it is only once in the while, it is not helpful to your overall goals. I agree that weak and lethargic may mean a blood sugar issue or something. Maybe check in with a doctor or nutritionist. Good Luck!

I have low aldosterone low BP and pots syndrome so I am used to it I take corticosteroids for it. My doctor just wants me to lose a little weight since he told me not to gain weight last time I was in there...but I did. I just want to lose slowly as possible then maintain. He would be not be happy about my my average cals being 984 and 69 carbs though. So sometimes I just got to eat and my body will let me know and I felt so much better. I'm not looking to be a health nut and eat health everyday (couldn't afford it anyway). I am just looking for my happy medium. My teenage daughters' friend was hit by a car, my friends infant died at birth, my bestfriend's dad died suddenly, then my aunt was murdered all this year. So I can die tonight for all I know. I just want to get were I am happy with my body. My doctor would tell me everything in moderation. ( my ENT is a dietician too weird right? His wife also runs a weight lose clinic) He recommended cutting my carbs (he went through this spill about this and that and said a bunch of medical terms) about a year ago I just stuck with it, but decided to go at it again. It is time for some blood work any how so I am going to talk to my doctor and tell him what is going on, if all my blood work is good he usually wont get on to me.

Oh - sorry you have medical issues to manage around, too. I have hypothyroid and take medicine daily; and feel great most of the time. I really can tell when I eat well my energy is so much better. Again, good luck!
