Yesterday was a good day, I went walking for an hour and 10 minutes with 5 lb freeweights. Using the weights definetly increase the intensity of my workout.

Yesterday's workout - walked on trail at an average speed of 3.8 miles poer hour for 1 hour 10 minutes holding 5 lb weights.

Measurements
Body Fat - 22.8
Muscle Mass - 41.6
Body Water% - 58.7
Bone Mass - 4.8
134.6 lb Lost so far: 17.9 lb.    Still to go: 4.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 5.6 lb a week

Nice walk at a good pace! If you get tired of carrying the handweights, you can get a weighted vest to wear. Supposedly it's easier on your body. I miss my outdoor walks. Maybe I can get out there today.

Thats fantastic that you get to go on those hikes. I always settle for my treadmill. I'm afraid to go walking alone on trails. Do you have a walking buddy?
