Stress eating
Every comment helps, guys. Thank you!! I guess it all goes back to the same thing -- maintaining my focus. I have to remember that I am dieting, do something that does not bore me (good point!), and stay away from the fridge.

The interesting thing is that I know all this. It's not new information for me. But I actually have to be reminded. That's why this writing is so helpful.

Stress eating
Unfortunately, my entire life seems to revolve around the kitchen. I have one of those kitchen/family room situations. And the kids and I seem to spend most of our time in here. It's where I have my computer, where the kids do their homework, draw, read, hang out, listen to music, et cetera. I need to just keep myself away from the food, anyway. But I don't think I can stay out of the kitchen. And I find myself opening the fridge all the time!

Stress eating
I finally had the opportunity to do some treadmilling last night, and that really made me feel better. But after I felt better, I still overate. What's a girl to do? I'm a victim of myself.

Stress eating
I don't know whether this subject has been covered before on here because I couldn't find it in the search engine. I'd like some tips on how to handle stress eating. To be frank, I have used every excuse in the book to rationalize my weight. But with kids' homework overload, household duties, and the current state of "things," I find that I go to the fridge every time I get overwrought. Who has some good tips on avoiding the stress-relieving indulgence?
