I love morning glories though.

Foody, Yes, So pleasing to eyes, heart and mind. Now, I’m going for a big mug of iced latte 🧋 

Yes, they are beautiful and glorious. I admire them from a distance because of childhood memories of trying to keep them from choking out the vegetable plants and flower beds.  

botany uses scientific names because theyre universal. whereas the "common names" can be 100 different things in different places. if you look up common names of some flowers, there are usually multiple listed. :) 

Latin was the language king. Clear up until 1966, Latin was a requirement to get into nursing school. All prescriptions were written in Latin 

Beautiful!!! Also! I made it outside for lunch and went on a walk with my new coworker! 🥰 

Because plain o!d English is not universal. Latin is universally accepted in the scientific community.

Thanks Matt! No pain, but lots of temptations! Lol! We counted on our walk 5 Ethiopian Restaurants/cafes, 2 burger joints, 1 chicken & waffle restaurant, and a juice bar/cafe in a 1 block radius of where we’re training!!!! The smells were divine!
