Jane Robbin's Journal, 01 August 2015

Did 21/3 yesterday and didn't gain any weight, still the same as was the day before and eating my calories in a few hours. Today is my 24 hour fast day, which I do every saturday. I fast from 6pm- 6pm and i can eat after if I want or just drink some protein drink and then start my regular fast the next day. I am not a fan of the 20/4 fast... I like to eat more than that... I think the 18/6 works best for me.

That is interesting, Jane. I am just finishing reading "The Bulletproof Diet" by James Asprey in which he discusses intermittent fasting; I usually do 16:8 but he believes longer fasts for women who are still on their reproductive can impact hormones and menstrual cycles too much.

I missed my second meal( eating window closed )so I did a 24 hr yesterday...not to bad at all, but 16:8 works best for me
