Ok so it is Melt the Fat OFF Week, in my neck of the woods and I know many of you have been already experiencing the same phenomenon for a while now already. Just not usually this wet and humid and HOT all at the same time here in Maine. Wet normally = cooler weather up here but thus far this week we have not gotten the rain that has fallen in all the cardinal direction around us. Thus, we do have a huge dose of humidity (75%) and upper 80s for most of the next 5 days. Which I think helped peak my crankiness level these past few days.

I know I should walk esp right now when it is a tad bit cooler in the morning but I just gonna work instead and sweat of the pounds toiling away on the house to keep on the schedule I think needs to be kept. I need this done and normalcy to start to return that and I have a lot of work that I need to finish for the business. AND I JUST WANT IT DONE!

Jeri, I talked to my hubby about getting a TRX/woos trainer and he will not let me have one because he does not want holes in his new ceilings and walls. :( I am still trying to sell him on it. He wants me to start at the gym and stick to it and anything I can do on a mat here before buying any equipment. So, I guess that is a reasonable request.

So, this week I know I need some levity to get me through because the heat index makes it feel like everything is harder and heavier right now, including me....

Have fun, Jeri. I totally get it. I have one side of the door primed and it is drying thus my little breaks... drying time between things giving me breaks losing light looks like storms which may curtail further progress as there is no light in the room I am working in. Power yes but light fixture cannot go up until the ceiling is painted - says me... easier to paint in the long run. Primer drys quick so it is probably ready now.

I have Leslie Sansone walk videos too BUT I have not living room nor is the DVD hooked up because of the renovation. And my BR is so crammed full of things from the rest of the house. Besides the fact there is no AC in this house and I doubt there ever will be. We have maybe a hand full of days a year that would truly constitute using one. But to kill the humidity and sleep better I would love it about now. No walking until my massive list of things to do are done and maybe if it cools off I would still but too many days with the contractor here early and only my kids at home if I leave and he shows. I like the guy, super nice and I think ist would really be a non issue but not keen on opening my house to ppl esp with my kids alone. And I feel like I am slacking. Not where I wanted to be end of the day today that is sure. Off to paint again and the storms are starting. SO i had a few mins to pop in and say hey while it dried and I input my dinner.

I play leslies dvd on my laptop... that makes it very easy in any circumstance. I wouldn't be able to fit in exercise in my life any other way... :) Good luck with your painting!

I wish I would get as much done as Pterath. I keep hitting roadblocks.

I was going to wait on the dining room fixture until the ceiling was painted, didn't, was tired of the old decrepit light and it was down to 1 40 watt bulb that worked. Now I'll be able to see doing the re-do on that room. It will be so nice to have decent light in my kitchen. Still haven't taped the ceiling these dang fixtures took way too much time. Thank goodness I don't have a deadline. LOL

no space still to do the walk videos and too busy. As for the lack of light I am just toughing it out have not had any until we got them installed in the kitchen so I have periferal lighting no direct. And we have hired my BIL so he is waiting on me. I am going to power out some stuff tomorrow. Gotta get that room primed and the ceiling painting and we have already gave the BIL a forward on his pay so going to get the work out of him. I have 11 days ( my timing to get it all done and I want to include the floor in that.) Hubby has so much going on I just need to get it done. ANd he sucks at painting. I have my own road blocks and the rain is slowing my process currently.

One side of the door is completely painted and with the humidity I am giving it all night before I flip it and finish it scare i will mess up all my hard work with it resting on non hardened paint. Door jamb is being sanded still hand sanding is tiring and time consuming.

I would wait also, too easy to gouge the paint and have to start all over. I'm back to cleaning up at the moment. Though actually just want to crash for the night. Then painters taping for touching up the ceiling paint. So glad those dang lights are done!!!

I despise taping. I use a really good 2-2.5 in brush to trim. I am off crashing and watching a show with hubby. DVR is getting sull have to kill a couple shows so we don't lose recordings.

I'm not a fan of taping either. The asthma meds make my hands shakey that's why so many blips. I've found out taping really helps me now. One of those adaptions one makes. LOL
