I have been away for a few weeks and I have been off the SBD. I am planning to start bak on Phase 1 on Monday. I have noticed some new recipes that include: Apricot Juices, Onion Soup Mix, Flour, Rice, Potatoes, and corn. Have I missed something has the South Beach Diet changed are these food not a no, no and if so what are these recipes doing here.

I think you can submit pretty much any recipe you want, but those of us who are really wanting to follow the diet closely just have to look at the rating of each recipe. If you look at the apricot recipe, it only has 1 1/2 stars for SBD. And the person who posted it is following her own diet, not South Beach, which is fine, but just be careful about the recipes you pick to make for yourself if you're trying to follow SBD closely.

LOL, that's wishful thinking "Can we eat whatever we want on south beach now?" Wouldn't that be awesome? I wish you a magnificent start to Phase I!
