Mirej's Journal, 01 September 2009

Ok... yesterday I eat what I cooked on Sunday, of course I didn't drop that last pound... I usually don't cook... I made special dinner on Sunday and there was a lot of it left and it was so good that my bf and me finished it last night for dinner... the hell with the pounds!
I would not throw away such a good food!
I made meat balls in a sauce that I prepared myself for the very first time, I was impressed and my boyfriend was in heaven. :)
I kept the same weight tho, 141 lbs... it sucks but at least I didn't go up! So, today is the day, I am changing my goal weight to 135 lbs... that is an ultimum goal, I will take some time to get there and I am setting this on a long term.. I know it is only 6 lbs, but I want to lose them on the healthiest way possible.

Soup is again on menu today at work, as for tonight, I am not sure... the meat balls are gone, so no more of that for sure lol...

After all, I am satisfied.. I never thought that I would reach anything close to my first goal... so it is a success despite that 1 pound! lol...

The bad news is my eye, it is red, itchy and not pretty again, I have an appointment with an eye specialist but only on Sept. 23rd... I can't wait... this is iritating and very bad... :( oh... I hope I will be doing fine until then... and last! my poor eye!

I am tired and have a headache on top of everything, because I am having this headache since yesterday I skipped my exercising... I couldn't do anything, but I did go out for a 1hr walk, it was so fresh and nice! We do that almost every day my bf and me. Feels good.

Have a happy Tuesday everyone... if that means anything...

**update**
I am leaving work, my eye is in a bad condition so I am heading to the doctor.. I will keep in mind to eat well even tho I am off work.
Hopefully I get some rest and get to exercise tonight.

Thanks buddy! Yeah my eye is weird.. I saw a different doc today, he was so nice and gave me some good advice, however I still need to wait for 3 more weeks until my appointment with the eye specialist! Oh well... for now I have to follow the instructions and be careful! My eye is very dry I feel it and the doc said that too.. I need to use drops...visine stuff... Good night...@+

Hi Mimi! I looked in one of my books about your eye's troubles. Vit A is THE eye vitamin. and it's very common for people on a low fat diet not to get enough of this vitamin. you find it in liver, fish liver's oil, eggs, diairies. they say in the book that a lack of vit A leads to an hypersensibility to the light, red and itchy eyes, decreasing of night vision, allergies and kidneys stones. well, fortunately you don't have all the symptoms! I thought maybe you would be interested, I find it makes sense... Have a good day!

Aww Anne, you are such a sweetheart taking the time to read all that and inform me. I will focus more on such food... even tho I do have that on my menu from time to time.. I will do another week of tuna salads, probably next week and try to put in some eggs in the morning... so that should make a difference. :)
