So frustrated this morning I have cut out all soft drinks no carbonation, beef only once a week fried items only once a week, water with lime or lemon a glass of tea every know and then and bread only once a day and dang it this morning I had gained three pounds on scales, so PO'd.

I had a problem with this last month. My caloric intake was low, my caloric burn was high, and I kept gaining weight. I think I wasn't eating *ENOUGH* and it threw my body off. It's also possible that you've lost fat but gained muscle. Also, three pounds could easily be the contents of your digestive system plus water weight. I've taken to not recording a weight on the chart *at all* unless it goes down. It seems to help me. Maybe that will work for you.

I'm impressed with you're diet changes, but concerned that they may be too drastic and too much all at one time. Realize that our path to health is forever, and the secret is not just staying on the path, because we all know how often we've fallen off the path. The secret is getting back on the path. One other thing: it's all about attitude; ask yourself what being PO'd does to your self esteem and your motivation long term. And how long do you think you can hang in there staying PO'd. Give yourself a break! Give yourself a pat on the back for trying. Heck, you're writing in this blog, and that's a great start. And give yourself a fresh start tomorrow, cause tomorrow is a new day. We're with you all the way :)
