I add couple of fresh jalapenos to mine

Also, adding some sliced jalapino to the jar adds some spice to your life too. You have to shake the jar occasionally the first few days. Looking forward to trying this as well.

I use pickle juice and add cucumber, grape tomatoes and red onion to it. Sometimes I’ll add part of a jalapeño to it. You can keep the red flakes though. It’s hot enough in Texas without bringing extra heat. lol
