Good morning!
My big news is I ran 6 miles outside (in the rain) yesterday morning! That is the farthest I've gone so far. My time decreased from a 10 min mile to an 11 min mile for the distance which is to be expected, so I ran for a total of 1 hr, 6 min. My longest outdoor run so far had been 4.6 miles. I just felt good so decide to keep going. I really could have gone longer too. So, that is exciting. I didn't set out to go that far but I decide to take another loop around the neighborhood when I could have gone home. I feel reinspired on the running now. My motivation was lacking, but doing that reinforced that I can do what is hard and to challenge myself to go further. I am even thinking a half marathon is now not out of the question for sometime in the future. I will have to see what is around in the fall if I will do that 8K Tower run or do something else.

Wow, I can't really believe I can run that now when I think that I ran for over an hour straight. That didn't even seem possible for me to do before. At one point before I felt like I was dying 5 min into it. Never say never! We can do far more than we think we can! Just keep training and trying consistently and you will see results!

Wow! I just had to comment and tell you how impressed I am! I am not a runner and always admired anyone that could do even 3 miles. WTG!

Awesome run! And in the rain, even! I've heard if you can get past the first 10 minutes, the rest is easier - so good job not giving up during that rough first 5 minutes. I love it when I'm running and I realize how far I've come - how I can do things now that I couldn't before - how I'm running up hills that used to get me winded just walking up them! Keep up the great work - you continue to inspire!

Good for you! Way to go. Your times are awesome. You can definitely do a 10K, no problem! We can run a 10K together (each respectively, of course)! Not actually in the same race but similar time frame! I've signed up for one on Oct 11th. Good luck to you!
