so I just found this website today, the reason I am even looking to change my eating lifestyle, is because I went to the doctors for the first time in about 4-5 years for a checkup, and to get blood drawn. needless to say he was not happy with me blood work, and told me if I don't start changing my eating habits I will get diabetes. so I am cutting out as much fat as I possibly can, and trying to get in touch with a nutritionist asap. wish me luck on my journey.

Good luck. Trying to change is tough but the only failure is in giving up.

Well done for wanting to do this. Eating healthy is a lifestyle and you will feel better for it. Remember though its not just about giving up fat (many fats are good for us like eggs, nuts and milk) its about adding good stuff like fruit and veg, fibre, protein, good carbs and fats and of course nutrients. Wishing you all the best as you start your climb up the mountain. :-)
