KSttride's Journal, 07 July 2011

I've been pretty tired today. Just could not sleep last night. I had a Dr's appointment this morning and he gave me a clean bill of health! I guess I was a bit worried and that was keeping me awake-the mind just would not shut down. It has only been 2 weeks and seems like at least a month or so. I checked the calendar and realized that fact so I'm going to cut myself a little slack. I did ask about the nausea and he said that was not unusual. About 30% of people who have their gall bladders removed experience nausea. It can last from 10 days to 2 weeks. I was one of them but have been lucky enough to only have it last for about 4-5 days. :)

My car's AC is fixed! That is so excellent because when I walked outside this morning at 8:45 it felt like a sauna......Oh yuck! Where are fall or winter when you want them! ;)

Oh....one more thing. I tried a new soup in the last few days and while I am definitely not pushing the brand, I am also going to try some of the others in the line. It was Amy's Organic Low Fat Vegetable Barley Soup. So good! Not cheap but good.

I'm so glad to hear you have a clean bill of health! It helps to know that your nausea is not because of anything unusual, but something some patients experience. Hooray for AC in the car! I think you're going to need it for a while. It's wonderful you found a soup that you really like! Sometimes it's worth paying for enjoyment. Everything is looking up for you today and I hope this trend continues! Hugs to you!
