Slow start to a day, but some accomplished, not as much as I hoped. I've never painted a room with this high contrast, deep red and white ceiling and trim so struggling to get the ceiling edges so I'm happy, bit ocdc. Shelves and pantry door have 1 coat on one side. The humidity is slowing drying the new paint.

Food hard to track today as bits of leftovers. Kept on plan, maybe a few too many cashews. Not much exercise but 8,000+ steps.

I'll figure out the picture thing when it's mostly done, and do some before and after. I didn't get as much done as I had hoped yesterday, a late start had much to do with it. Woke up @ 6:30 this morning so definitely an earlier start. Still wet out, rained again overnight and forecast is for more during the day.

I love red and white rooms! I bet it looks awesome! Some of my foods are hard to enter. Yesterday I had to enter a new food just to get it logged.

What did you enter? I gave up doing that, no patience, and just find something close, LOL. This is a dark red with white woodwork and some white Ikea shelving units. Whatever I did had to go with the oak cabinets and the backsplash, not something I am going to replace at the moment. I want white stone counters of some sort. They are a mottled light gray laminate that needs replacing as it's starting to loosen in places. Counters are a matter of $$$$. The light fixtures will all be new nickel ones and the brass hardware will be replaced with nickel as I slowly get the cabinets re-stained on hot or rainy days this summer. The current stain is really worn in some places, the cabinets were new in 2004. They are nice and in good shape just need a bit of TLC and getting rid of the dang brass!

I did a dining room once in true red walls and white trim. I LOVE red. Everything I own is red. Ok, not everything, but a lot of things. I made a pizza at work yesterday. Our crust is cracker thin, then I just put sauce, garlic, two kinds of peppers, tomatoes, and black olives, no cheese. I didn't want to just put pizza since it was a vegan pizza. Saved on the calories and fat. I went to the restaurant's website got the nutritional info and then manually entered it. Pizza was awesome by the way.

Sounds beautiful.. you are a very very busy woman and your giving me an incentive to do some kind of painting or a new project...there is always a project to do right? the satisfaction to me is so rewarding though...Im in the same boat this weekend Im busy not much of an intake and so I didn't focus on my exercise.. that is a downfall of mine that Im planning on working on. Have a great day WFN its getting ready to rain here... for the next 24hrs:)
