Shelly25's Journal, 29 June 2011

Well, there was a bit of a setback today. I slept past my alarm and woke up, frantically trying to get things together and go to court reporting class at college. I didn't take any food to go, and I didn't have much money on me. The only thing I had today was a pack of peanut butter and cheese crackers and a can 12 oz. can of Diet Pepsi. I am pretty much starving myself today :( I hope I don't sabotage myself further when I get home. I need to take normal portions...no overeating. Usually, when you haven't eaten all day, your body kicks itself into starvation mode. I am praying that I don't overeat. :(

Diet Calendar Entry for 29 June 2011:
1080 kcal Fat: 49.00g | Prot: 50.00g | Carb: 111.00g.   Lunch: planter's peanut butter. Dinner: mcdouble. Snacks/Other: shop rite waffle pretzels, diet pepsi. more...

Good luck, when I feel like i might over eat, I buy a bag of frozen green beans and eat as many as will make me feel full. they have really super low calorie counts, so you can feel full without feeling guilty.

Have to be honest...did eat Mcdonald's today, but still within my calorie limit. In fact, I'm underneath and I'm satisfied. No more eats tonight, just exercise lol. That's an awesome idea, though! I love vegetables too. I'm going to definitely be using your tip when I find that I didn't really eat all day and may overeat later :)

I have a question right back lol...are you attempting to lose weight or maintain your current weight? I am attempting to lose weight (and much of it) so I was just wondering what your goals are? I consume 1200-1500 cal per day (sometimes a little less) and exercise regularly to lose weight. YET, if you are trying to maintain weight, you can consume more calories and exercise regularly. I'm assuming you may consume up to 2100 cal for weight maintenance...you don't necessarily have to consume those extra 700 cal, but you definitely can. I will give you this excellent website to go to read articles about all different health issues. I absolutely use this website for my own research. It is called everydayhealth.com It is an excellent site, and I believe it is very credible. I hope I answered your question :)...if not, I am sure you will find information from, perhaps, another person on this site, through the website above, or other references. :)
