Last night I had so much fun exercising with my 5 year old daughter and 2 year old son. We danced so much for a good 40 minutes and in between I was doing some palates.
Interestingly, my daughter showed me some of the moves they do at her ballet class. Although they look simple, they leave quiet a muscle burn after such a short period of time. We laughed so much and my kids were so fascinated to see Mommy doing jumping jacks. It was great. Today I woke up to do 15 minutes of strength training. I was late for work because I was too lazy to wake up for a work out. Its amazing how much convincing one goes through when one has to exercise. At some point I was debating with myself that I don't have to wake up, I can simply take my gym clothes to work and when I get a chance I can take a walk during my lunch hour. Eventually I agreed with myself that a lunch hour walk is actually a brilliant idea, however, I still need to wake up and move my body, even if its is just for 5 minutes. And so I did and I am so happy I did.
I am now looking forward to lunch and convincing myself out of my office to taking a walk
