TGIF!!! I'm ready for the weekend! I think a lot of it is spring fever, with the temps supposed to be in the 50's I'm looking forward to spending some time outside. I downloaded the couch to 10K app this morning, thinking that maybe I won't just stop at 5K, I'll keep pushing through. Now I'm ready for my run this afternoon. I never in a million years would have thought I'd be excited for a run, but I think being stuck in the house all winter and part of fall has made me appreciate getting out in the fresh air. I'm going to ease back into the running with the app because there is timed walking and running periods, and I know I'm really out of shape and it will be harder than it was a year ago.

I've got my food planned out for today again, and I added the cake in that I'll have tonight. I think it only takes the actual mix into consideration, I'm not sure if it actually counts the oil and eggs, so I added an extra serving of frosting. I am figuring it's better to overestimate than underestimate, I'm only cheating myself if I underestimate and if it keeps me from eating more cake, then I'll keep a higher number of calories. :) Eating okay this week knowing that I have the cake to look forward to tonight has worked well. It's really motivating me to stick to the plan knowing that I'll have a harder time this weekend. I haven't dug into the candy jar at work for at least 3 days, and I'm going to stay strong. I'm going to try to be good this weekend and record my calories. The weekends are the hardest for me and I never make time to record, so I need to get into the habit.
