I went to the monthly Christian Women's luncheon with my mom. Was amazed that this time there were so many healthy options. One of the ladies asked me if I had gotten enough to eat. It was a good program and the speaker was the doctor who saved my grandson's life when he was born not breathing 14 years ago. My mom was pretty confused today and it will just be a matter of time before she can no longer live alone. It is sad to see the dementia taking her away. I am retaining fluids really bad right now and might have to see my doctor sooner than my appointment. last night was 4 pounds over night, it is to the point that it is affecting my breathing. I will check the scale again in the morning then decide whether to call the doctor. Despite all that is going on Life is good.

Experiencing a loved one going through Dementia is tough indeed, but I'm so glad that you and your mom got to attend a Chistian Luncheon together. This time together is so precious. Praying for strength and good health for you both.
