Happy Tuesday friends - Grateful for another day! I did not drink enough water yesterday but I am going to do it today! I need to pay more attention to that.

I was thinking about what helped me the most last year as I was evolving through this journey and I remember that one of the things I tried to do was to put my meal intentions in black and white (write it down on the computer). This meant not just planning my meals but actually documenting it in the finest detail I could. I didn't always stick to what I documented 100% but it was very close. If I made changes throughout the day, I would go back and update the changes. I have gotten very lax with that approach for so many reasons, but I am going to get back to it since it's very clear that I am not keeping on top of updating my meals. I allow a lot of things to get in the way - one missed day becomes 2, then 3 .... and then I have a spotty food diary with gaps all over the place. However, it's self-sabotage isn't it? I know that documenting is a tool that helps me to set my eating intentions for the day and I have a much better chance of fulfilling them. I also get to analyze my eating plan to see if it's on point. I think I lost sight of some of these things that helped me to successfully lose the weight so far - they are core for me and I need to get back to them. The same approach is true for other things as well - for example, my Yoga practice and exercise.

I did Yoga yesterday but not nearly enough ... a lot was swirling around me and I think the integrity of the moment was lost. However, I did get something out of it - going back at it today - step by step! On the work front, things have progressed - it looks like I am going to have a year of living out of my comfort zone with this professional opportunity. Let the growing begin!

Aur: LOL ... I went back to planning my entire day's menu .... my mind is now free to focus on the being in the now and getting "it" done. Woot! Woot!
