I have a review for the Fitbit One wearable technology for tracking your steps, calories burned, Flights of stairs climbed, miles, and a flower that grows as your progress climbs to your goal i.e 10000 steps. The device weighs a couple of ounces at most and is pretty small maybe 1 and 1/2 inches long and 1/2 inch wide. It comes with a rubberized clip that I hang from a handmade lanyard. It also has a computer interface at the fitbit.com website. It tracks your sleep (comes with a nice velcro and spandex-like band that you wear on your wrist while the fob is in the sleeve) and you can set an alarm online as well.

It is amazing how competitive you become with yourself. In the past couple of weeks I have worn it everyday and night, it is cool to be able to look at the charts and progress. So I enthusiastically recommend this device.

On a personal note I am down 117 pounds from 255 pounds to 138, 11 pounds to my goal weight. I started 3 years ago and have had my share of failures and successes, it has been a journey.
138.2 lb Lost so far: 8.8 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 1.8 lb a week
