Herbie's Journal, 17 February 2015

Well, I had a good day in terms of exercise and being active (2 walks with the dog, 30+ minutes of shoveling, an hour or so of rock climbing with my family), but not a stellar day for food. Not only did I snack on kettle corn with my kids, but we also went out for Thai food for dinner and even though I only had half of my entree, which was plenty of food, I know that I'm up on carbs and calories for the day. So, not my best day for food. But the spicy eggplant was amazing.

I am routing for you. I find that eating out really hurts my calorie count!

Thanks Ann and Linda. Today's been great-- had eggs, chard, and a veggie sausage for breakfast (my new normal) and then went for a 45 minute run with my friend. Inside on a track, of course, as it is freezing and snowing here and I'm not *that* hard core.
