I accept myself unconditionally right now. I am determined to do this; I am committed to the time it will take; and I will get this done!

Even more incentive to get this weight off...my Dad passed away suddenly on January 24, 2015 at the age of 72. They believe his heart just gave out after 25 years of diabetes and heart disease.

I am going VEGAN and plan to do it in increments so that by the end of the year (if not sooner) me and my family will be eating this lifestyle instead of the MEAT, MEAT, MEAT American eating style. My Dad was a meat cutter for over 25 years and guess what we ate a lot of...MEAT! Guess what runs in my family...diabetes and heart disease!

OK. Now to get back on the horse and get active. While we were making all of the arrangements, my family and I decided that TV watching was going to be at a minimum. We are going to do more things as a family and do planned exercise. We can't wait for this to magically happen; we have to get off our butts and do it!

Now because of all the stress going on due to his passing, my blood numbers have been higher than normal. But I am diligently working on getting them back under control.
