Annabelle3117's Journal, 22 January 2015

Good morning everyone! A little sore this morning from my workout yesterday, but not what I thought I would be. I must be in better shape than I had anticipated.

Craziest thing, I worked out like a mad woman yesterday which would usually leave me ravenous for the remainder of the day, yet I had almost no appetite. I pretty much force fed myself to make sure I was getting adequate intake. I don't know how to explain that. Hope I'm not coming down with something.

All is well on the intake. I think I'm going to give some of my home strength training moves a try today, and then back to the gym tomorrow. Probably no gym Sat or Sun, because I'll be in clinicals then back on it Monday. I'm pretty anxious about the weigh in tomorrow. I guess it was such a good one last time that I'm afraid it won't be much this time. I know It doesn't really matter, but I also know I'm not the only one with scale anxiety lol.

Lots of homework to get done today and tomorrow, seeing as how my weekend is booked solid. I don't know how I could work a full time job, take care of the family and go to school. So grateful for my husband for doing his best to support us financially while I get my education.

Have a wonderful day, buddies :)

Patience ;) Even if the weigh-in won't be as good as last week, it's going to be a progress nonetheless. And stick to measurements as well, personally I think losing centimeters makes more sense than kilos (or inches instead of lb, you get what I mean).

I didn't get in all my calories yesterday, because yesterday (at my doctor's recommendation) I started adding chia seed to them and I was still too full to even want dinner. I will make sure to eat enough today, however. I want to lose a pound a week, but no more than that. I want this weight to come off and stay off. As I increase my activity, I'm guessing I'll have to adjust the amount of calories to keep it at a reasonable and sustainable rate.
