I guess I'm a bit of a worrier because I'm starting to worry about how easy this is going so far. Down 7.1 pounds in 3 days is.....wow. I realize that it's pretty much water weight, and that the more you have to lose, the faster it is in the beginning, but I don't think I have ever had it happen so big. God willing it'll continue for a little while & then settle into a nice steady, reasonable loss.

It looks like you're probably doing a low carb diet? My experience with it is that I'd lose a lot of weight quickly and then it'd slow down, but I'd easily lose 10 to 12 lbs the first week. So I'd guess the loss will slow as time goes on. Congratulations on your success, I'm sure it feels good.

A few years ago when I first low carbed I dropped 50 lbs in 3 months. I stuck to it and it worked great. Friends thought I had developed a drug problem because Id lost so fast :D (that was the best compliment Id ever heard lol) -- it did plateau, and that was when I just accepted that some people are a bit geared toward a certain weight. I kept my carbs at under 50. Drank lots of water, got healthy fats and proteins and kept at about 130-135.. apparently my 'ideal weight' was 125. But that didnt bother me. I stayed where I plateued easily for 5 years until I got pregnant and my new doctor had a fit about the low carb and guilted me into more carbs. I developed gestational diabetes, then another child right after and TOTALLY fell off the low carb lifestyle. So now im back at it again and i forgot how awesome it is once the body kicks into its Fat Burning gear and weight/fat and excess water sheds.
