Started my shake week. I thought it would be cleansing to just eat meals around my greens for a week. Fruits, vegies, yogurt, nuts, some oils. Mostly shakes but I will also do some sautéed greens and feta. No meat though. Bill is doing his master cleanse. That one I just can't pull off. But I am super excited about my shakes. I am sure it will be easier to stay within my RDI of 1300 with them. I've had three different kinds today.

Oh and I walked a 4.5 miler today. Feeling great walking! My body is to the point now where It just loves it. I'll need to push myself farther soon though. Foot is doing great. No complaints anymore later in the day.

I have to admit that I had a mini carb fest last night. Mac and cheese, bread and potato chips. Finishing off the carbs in my house. Not too much of each but enough for my tummy to feel a bit yucky at 3am. I had two glasses of wine too. Didn't need to get up or anything. Just noticed. It helps to note such things for future reference. No worries now though. I am eating really well for the next several days.

Wow, on a mission huh!!! what kind of shakes you doing?

I just got a Vitamix and I have a greenhouse full of spinach, kale and swiss chard so I'm making green shakes. This last one was, kale, peanut butter, coconut milk, cinnamon, an apple, and a half a scoop of protein powder and ice. yummy.

Haven't tried one with peanut butter yet. I duuno when I will, doesn't sound appealing. Today had one w plain yogurt, almond milk, banana, strawberries, flax. J & I decided no veg today. It was yummy.
