Happy Thursday!

Home from babysitting 4 grands and doing some shopping in Grand Rapids. Drove through some terrible snow conditions - white out in some spots. Saw some cars off the road, one SUV and a tanker truck rolled over. Driving in winter is somewhat like dieting...slow and steady works best.

Put away my purchases and then hopped on the exercise bike for a 80 minutes (21.6 miles) ride. Next up I'll start get dinner in the oven and then hop in the shower before GoodMan comes home from work. He's so funny...doesn't have a problem going on business trips for a night or two without me...but if I leave him at home by himself for one night he acts like he's just lost...he'll be happy to have dinner waiting when he gets home.

All things food are going okay. I struggled a little last night while at my son's house. I brought my own food for dinner and bought the kids pizza. The pizza didn't tempt me, but they had cupcakes and Halloween candy and it was all I could do to stay out of it. It's weird, because I haven't been tempted by that stuff at home...I'll have to figure that one out.

Make your Thursday a happy one!

So glad you made I home safely, driving in these conditions are really stressful. I know my my neck and shoulders would be in awful knots from the stress.
