I will follow the guidelines of Atkins to a certain extend but giving it a thought, I do not want to use any artificial sweeteners anymore. They can't be good. So, I decided, against all Atkins rules, to use honey, raw local honey, for the few things I actually sweeten. The health benefits outweighs the net carbs.
Because of my health issues I am starting off every day with ginger/lemon water with some honey and will drink about 2 liters of this throughout the day. I really hope it will help.
