Sitting here eating too many peanuts, hope that it will even out over the week. They sure taste good. Munchies tonight, put them away.

Ended up committed to making beans for the food day tomorrow. Skipped the gym so I would have time. Shouldn't have done that. After 8:00 beans are now done, they taste good. Coleslaw is done ready to put into a container far tomorrow, it tastes good also. its traditional mayo/sugar/ sour cream/celery seed, I did use yogurt instead of the sour cream.

Should gave committed to something less time consuming at the last minute. Figured I should take a protein option.

Peanuts are my weakness! If I have a jar in the van with me I munch all day. How did you make your beans? I just defrosted some white beans, and I'm not feeling inspired.

Smart of you to bring a protein option. I have felt very few cravings since starting my new lifestyle, but last night I felt a doosie coming on for peanut butter. Before I started feeling out of control I checked my food log and decided it would fit in my plan. I measured out 1 tablespoon and put it in a small Tupperware container. I mixed it with just enough milk to make it spoonable and then sat down and ENJOYED it. It was so satisfying to feel in control of food, my lifestyle, myself...etc...You seem to do all of that so well. You have inspired me.

I know that feeling. Peanuts used to be my weakness (some asthmatics are allergic; I'm not, I think it's cashews now. Almonds/walnuts are cool, because they're not so easy to eat. But I'm with you and hipaagrammy. nuts...nut butter, ugh!

Peanuts are a horrible downfall. Good for you, too many sabotage your week. Finished what I bought, not good. Do not buy, what is not purchased you cannot eat..,. also not an asthma trigger for me, chemicals are,

Instantcrazy, do you have a pressure cooker?

I don't. I have a rice cooker. What all did you put in your beans?

Not a rice cooker (don't Ave one), a pressure one. Mayo-coba beans 2 cups, 1 large onion cut in chunks, a poblano pepper also cut up , 2 dried chipotles also cut into chunks, a few sprigs of thyme and 4 or 5 small bay leaves. Salt and pepper after cooking. I would have used a hotter pepper than poblano if I wasn't taking them to work, lots were left, expected that. People seemed to like them though. Makes a lot of servings.
