No matter what I do, I always gain over the weekend. I don't understand how one day screws up my entire week. Saturday was my "bad" day. And it wasn't even that bad. I kind of gorged on "snacks" and I use that word loosely. I had guacamole that was home made. Home made spinach dip. Whole wheat tortillas, and still back up after this weekend. It's so frustrating.

Back to the no snack week. And no snack weekend. It needs to happen. I walked twice yesterday. The weather was decent and I decided to take advantage. It's supposed to be in the 70s today, but it's so overcast that it makes it so dreary and dismal.

I also realized something that might be TMI, so I'm apologizing ahead of time. My...movements aren't as regular on the weekends. During the week, it's like clockwork, weekends, not so much. Maybe that has something to do with the gains on Monday morning. I also have to start drinking more (read some) water. I know that'll help, but I just have to get itno the groove of doing it.

Otherwise, things are good. I'm just waiting for the sun. That's all. This weather makes me so tired, and I just want to sleep, even though I know sleeping doesn't burn as many calories as walking.

I totally hear you about the gaining over the weekend thing. I do pretty good all week and then the weekend comes and if I am going to screw up, that is when I typically do it! Hang in there!

I also suffer from the dreaded weekend syndrome. Perhaps if I give myself a 'generous' day only every other weekend that would help? We seem to be at a pretty similar size/weight (I'm not sure how tall you are - I'm 5' 5"). I think that we are both so close to being where we want to be, and it seems like the last couple pounds are always the hardest. Good luck! I'll definitely need it; my birthday is this week and I celebrated with family this past weekend but am celebrating with friends in the city this coming weekend. To top it off, my roommate's band is playing a show on Saturday which is serving as my birthday party, and they have quite the hefty bar tab as part of their pay. Ugh. Gonna be tough!
