Six hours of hours of sleep, followed by 1 1/2 hours of drowsing while listening to podcasts.
Morning plank. Ten minutes on the Air Walk Trainer first thing in the morning to burn off glycogen.
Cardio: 1 1/2 hours on the Air Walk Trainer, 5 minutes on the stepper. Steps: 768.
I cleared a space in my bedroom for the Sunny stepper next to the Sunny Air Walk Trainer. The stepper is a lot heavier and even more solidly constructed than its little brother, which doesn't have handles. The downside is it is less portable. Sunny exercise equipment really does give you value for money. It looks like the Fat Gripz will fit on the handles, which means they're not going to waste. It took me about a half hour to assemble, but I put the handles on the wrong way the first time out. The handle bars are flimsier than those on the Air Walk Trainer and it's easier to tip over. On the other hand, the stepper delivers more of a workout to the quads and glutes and is closer to stair climbing, which sarcopenia has made more difficult. I don't know whether I want to sustain 51 minutes on the stepper the way I do on the Air Walk Trainer.
The most complicated part of the assembly is threading the wire that connects the pedals to the counter on the handle. I decided to skip that part of the assembly to speed things up. Also, from my experience, the counters often don't register motion and I hope to mount the tablet holder where the counter goes. It wouldn't take a lot of time to reassemble if I ever decide to try the counter.
I continue to build out my kitchen. I ordered
the Cuisinart Advantage 12-Piece Knife Set on sale since the only knives I have are a paring knife and a chipped as-seen-on-tv ceramic knife. knife.
