Glorious Tuesday everyone!

Today has already been a busy day for me. I've ridden my exercise bike for 1 hour (14 miles), done about 2 hours of housework/laundry, and spent a couple of hours shopping for birthday gifts for three grandchildren (girl 6, boy 9, and boy 10). I am seriously considering giving my grands cash...I don't know what we're going to do at Christmas time...there's just so many of them and I always feel as if I don't do enough for one or the other (unfortunately, I've been accused of showing favoritism in the past so it really stresses me out).

I missed lunch because I got caught up in my shopping so I was STARVED when I got home. I tried to be sensible, but it's hard to put "a bite of this and a bite of that and a handful of carrots, and a few grapes, and ..." in my food log.

Grandsons #9 & #13 are coming over for dinner and then a swim. I think I'll make fish sticks for them and since reading DairyKing's journal, I think I'll make rainbow trout for me. I wont' be able to swim since I still have the staples in my back from surgery last Friday, but maybe while they're in the pool with GoodMan I can get another hour on my exercise bike.

I believe the Great Mouse War '14 my be over...and just in time. We will have all four guestrooms filled this weekend along with air mattresses all over the floors because all but one of my families will be here to celebrate late summer/early fall birthdays. I think the head count will be 11 adults and 12 children from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon. It is always a lot of fun and activity...and Grandma is always exhausted when they all go home!

Bummed grandsons won't be coming tonight BOTH got in trouble at school today, so their mom is keeping them home. Disappointed - but, must not reward bad behavior, so I understand.
