Jackie's Birthday dinner at Longhorn Steakhouse today. I am planning to order a grilled shrimp on top of a salad. It comes with avocado. I know to eat a tiny amount of avocado because it is so high in fat. This is going to be my first 'eating out' NO iced tea with meal!

Avocado has good fat, monounsaturated. You just want to stay away from the polyunsaturated, which is what they mostly find in the arteries when they open up people who've died from heart disease.

Eat the avocado. People who eat the good fats lose better than people who don't. A study showed people who ate 25% of good fats each day lost more weight than those who didn't. It keeps you satiated and helps you lose weight.
