CatHerder's Journal, 17 August 2014

Since it was nice outside I did my run/walk outside in the park. I was able to go a full 3/4 of a mile to start with and did a couple of full 1/4 mile laps during my session. I kept my energy high and had a good calorie burn session.

My weight is going up slightly from water retention, too much salt from dill pickles. I love them but I can only have them once in a while as they do cause me to hold onto water, salt. I'm still keeping my high calorie deficits for now, I'll probably back off in a month or so and slow down my weight loss to a more sustainable level. Not sure how many that would be at the moment but I'll need to balance it between the days I work out and the days I don't.

My goal is to hit my target of 200 lbs by next summer, hoping for June. At my current rate I should be able to make it. I need to stay focused, not skip meals and keep my activity level high. I go see the Doctor in about a week and will have my blood draw this week. Should be interesting to see what she says this time.

I know what you mean about those pickles. A jar won't last me 2 days. So yes, I agree it has to be water weight. Yes, continue to stay focused on your goal and you will reach it. Great workout too. Have a great Sunday!
