No cheating today, and I did not go for the bike ride, although I did go for my walk this morning. I was a bit slower at it, since I am still tired from yesterday. Today my husband and I did some minor renovations on our walk in closet. He bought us a small gun safe for our hunting rifles, which makes me feel much better about the kiddos not being able to access them. But it's a hideous (although practical and necessary) piece of furniture, which now resides in our bedroom where the dresser was. The dresser displaced some shelves, and a large number of items I was storing made their way to the crawl space. Hubby made stuffed hamburgers on the grill tonight, so I had him swap out turkey burger for me, and kept to onions, mushrooms, bell peppers, and cheese for my filling. A touch of olive oil and crushed red pepper tied everything together perfectly! I also notice since I have transitioned to these eating habits, I am able to recognize when I am full much more quickly, and rarely deal now with the feeling of being overstuffed. It feels great!
