I don't usually eat any special low carb foods, but I made oopsie rolls tonight as a substitute for a hamburger bun. They work well, though they are a bit eggy. Not a problem for an egg fan like me. The numbers on the site are the same as for the recipe I use.
That's a good thing. It's really annoying to find that so many of the things I routinely buy in Canada are not in the Db. I do the scan the barcode and hope thing. ABout half the time, I have to add the item as a new food. Tonight I had to add in Butcher's Choice Cheddar Cheese Beef Hamburgers. They are the best frozen burgers I've found--better be for 350 calories.
The change to the extended release metformin has my numbers up. I'm assuming it is because the doc started me on a really low dose and that once I get back to the correct one, all will be well. The stomach distress which was the reason I made the change is gone!
