AliceWartooth's Journal, 11 July 2014

Sooo, the big test was today (Psychopathology). After studying at around 2 am (I think better at night) I went to bed. . Lay there thinking about nothing and everything at the same time, like flipping through a TV channel(guess my meds were wearing off). This was fine until I realised it's 6am and I still haven't fallen asleep yet.

So I simply got up, dressed, packed and went to write my test. It actually went awesome! It's surprising how much info you can retain when you are genuinely interested in something. . .even without sleep.

Couldn't exercise yet, but hoping I can make it this weak!

Hoping you all are all happy and flourishing!

PS: Anybody else ever experience nausea after going without sleep or waking up earlier than you are used to? A recurrent thing for me. . would like to hear your take! I can be a bit of a physiology geek*

When I have to wake up early but I'm still very tired than I do have nausea. Usually I still eat something so that wakes me up. I can go long periods of time without sleeping if I'm well rested and than I'm OK. A couple of times I had to work for 24 hours straight and even 36 hours, counting that I was awake for 6 more hours because of the traffic and getting ready, I still physically was good only very pissed off LOL. I worked as a sales person.

Hmmm, maybe I should keep some food by my bed and eat before my body notices I'm awake, maybe then I will stop feeling nauseous and my body might forget to add up the calories.haha. .seems legit

Before you get out of bed, eat a few saltine crackers to ease the nausea. [5 is the usual serving size.]
