So what happens to fat? I woke up this morning weighed myself and it was the same as all day yesterday...then i did my workout, ate breakfast, had coffee. Then I weighed myself before I got in the shower and had lost 1.6 lbs. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN, I really need to understand the concept behind how weight goes away?
My husband said they are cells that just disapear. Can anyone break it down for me so I can understand it better? THANKS!

Fat cells NEVER go away! They shrink. When you lose weight all those fat cells just shrivel up, but they are there for the rest of your life. Thats why its so easy to gain weight. The only way to permanently get rid of fat cells is to have lipo. This is what I recently learned in my anatomy and physiology class. If you weighed yourself first with clothes and then after the shower without clothes that could explain the difference. Also if you sweated in your workout, went to the bathrooom you lost water weight. Hope this is helpful.
